E&I supervisor

Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industry. We provide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

• Site supervision will be part of the job, to monitor construction activities
• You are involved in checking construction packages made by external design contractors
• This assessment is based on the INEOS Project One Procedures and Standards
• The work packages will have to be checked for compliance, completeness and constructability. In this you will make use of your knowledge and expertise
• Where possible, you will propose alternative materials and / or working methods
• You will actively participate in internal and external meetings
• You will have contact with other departments within the Project One organization to ensure that the design meets the expectation of these departments
• Support the Construction Manager SP&O for E&I electrical construction matters
• Manage parts of the E&I construction activities
• Supervise (sub) contractors
• Prepare and issue permit to work
• Pro-active in SHE matters
• Assist SP&O Commercial team for electrical matters
• Assist SHE department team in reviewing work method statements and risk analysis

• Proactive work attitude
• Team player
• Willing to work in a small, flexible and enthusiastic international team
• A valid VCA VOL certificate and a good safety awareness
• Minimum 10 years of work experience in the (petro-) chemical sector
• Clear experience in working in or with design contractors
• Strong affinity with the execution of construction works
• Include your experience into practical designs and construction packages
• Good understanding of English in speaking and writing and fluent in Dutch
• Critical and sharp attitude to identify omissions in design
• Enthusiastic and goal-oriented
• Strong attitude to SHE
